Tune into Gay Beach on Saturday, October 11 at 2 p.m. to hear the debut in-studio live set by the new hardcore supergroup Violent Bullshit. Ted Shumaker hosts singer Jayson Green (former frontman of the Massachusetts hardcore act Orchid and Brooklyn's Panthers), alongside members of Black Army Jacket, Half Man, Fiery Furnaces, Kapow!, and Pink Reason. Violent Bullshit -- the timid just call 'em VBS -- play good old fashioned 80s-style hardcore of short sharp shock variety, their songs rarely going much over the 60-second mark and featuring titles like "Fallopian Dudes" and "We Don't Like You." What's not to love?
